Azure Plugin

Azure Conversion Wizard is a plugin for VS 2010. The wizard converts your ASP.NET solutions for .NET 3.5 and higher to Windows Azure Platform.

Following changes are made during the conversion process:

1. A Cloud project is added if there is none.
2. All ASP.NET Web Application projects are converted to Web Role projects.
3. All WCF/ASP.NET WebService projects are converted to Web Role projects.
4. All WCF/Windows Service projects are converted to Worker Role projects.

Please note that additional work may be required to migrate your ASP.NET app to Azure in case of scenarios which include usage of database, file system, third-party components.

The project is provided on an “AS IS’ basis, free of charge under. The users are free to use the wizard on their own risk.
